WELDER TESTING AND CERTIFICATIONS
Our company only employs AWS Certified Weld Inspectors and ASNT Qualified NDT personnel.
We provide complete shop and field operations, specializing in weld document preparation, assistance in Procedures and Weld Specifications, project drawing and specification compliance. Complete machine shop with capabilities for destructive and NDT weld and material testing.
INSPECTION CODE CAPABILITIES
Inspections in compliance with AWS Structural, Aerospace, API and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes. Pipeline and structural construction / erection site services, complete operations from startup thru finish. Documentation to include; material verification, witness of all testing, QA / QC Compliance and safety protocol. We strictly adhere to applicable Codes, Standards and owner / operators specified requirements.
NDT SERVICES
Personnel shall be qualified to ASNT SNT – TC – 1A and project requirements. Types of testing to include; (MT) Magnetic Particle, (PT) Liquid Penetrant, (UT) Ultrasonic and (AE) Acoustic Emissions of Valves, Tanks and Piping. Visual Inspections are included as part of all inspection processes. AE Testing can be performed while items are in service. Radiographic Testing available as required. WELD PROCEDURE SPECIFICATION (WPS) AND PROCEDURE QUALIFICATION REPORTS (PQR)
WRITTEN PRACTICES AND NDT PROCEDURES
Create WPS’s and PQR’s to specific customer requirements or to applicable Code requirements. Verify that WPS’s are in compliance with project specifications.
For customers that require their personnel to perform NDT in-house, we can generate their own Written Practice, provide training and specific qualification requirements and supply specific practice procedures.
ASME AND NATIONAL BOARD (NB) ACCREDITATION (WE CAN HELP)
ASME and the National Board (NB) require companies be Symbol holders for the manufacturer and repair of boilers, pressure vessels both fired and non-fired and power piping.
Companies requiring ASME and/or National Board Symbols require an extensive initial process. We assist in writing Procedure Manuals, Practices, working with proposed insurance carriers for inspections. Prepare Weld Procedures and testing of welders to Code requirements. Companies QA / QC documents and procedures, material compliance verification, weld / welder, product testing requirement, forms as required. Setup with your appointed personal for appropriate shop and field operations covering compliance and testing. Provide complete services from start to completion of Code requirements as required.
COATING TESTING
Complete Ultrasonic thickness and High Voltage coating testing (Jeeping) for tanks, piping and pipelines.
COMMUNICATION TOWER MODIFICATION INSPECTIONS
Services cover on-site inspections of modification and design changes to towers and related structurers. Review design to Code and owner / engineering specifications, verify weld procedures and welder qualifications to applicable codes and specifications. Verification at completion to design criteria Compliance.
